Places to visit

The main of Georgetown is considered as the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

If you like buildings and histories, here are some place that I (Li Hau) find it worth exploring.

• Penang Peranakan Mansion
  This is just across the wedding venue
• Leong San Tong Khoo Kongsi 龍山堂邱公司
  This is a clan house for the Khoos, one of the Five Big Clans (Cheah, Yeoh, Lim, Tan, Khoo)
• Cheah Kongsi Temple 世德堂謝公司
  The clan house for the Cheahs.
• Sun Yat Sen Museum
  This building was the Southeast Asia headquarters of the Tongmenghui 中國同盟會. Sun Yat Sen was here to fund raise and plan the revolution to overthrow the Qing dynasty.
• Fort Cornwallis
  There's real canon here 👀. The fort was built by the British, but never engaged in combat before.
• Chew Jetty
  This is 1 out of 6 clan jetties in Penang.
• Goddess of Mercy Temple
• Sri Mahamariamman Temple
